Following the move, Apryl was on American Idol. However, she didn't make it to the high-end of the show. Apryl was attempting to be a part of Making the Band, but that too did not work for her. Apryl made an appearance as a contestant on Search For The Next Doll in which she auditioned for membership in the newly formed Pussycat Dolls. Apryl wasn't selected after failing to convince the judge. Her tour dates were together with her replacement. After a few months, they made the decision to be one of eight original castmembers in Vh1's Hollywood. The first season of the show, Megaa and her husband were expecting their first child. In the second season, she explores the frustrations in her career and insecurities which accompany her newfound fame. Omarion was on tour as well. Apryl did not join him for the reunion taping. On December 7 2015 Apryl confirmed the two had quit the show and that they would not be back for the following season. Apryl had their daughter A'mei Kazuo Grandberry on the 7th, 2016. Four months later Apryl and Omarion announced their break up. Apryl appeared on the show in season four, meeting Lil' Fizz to discuss a potential B2K reunion. Apryl returned to the show for season six which focused on her custody battle with Omarion as well as the media speculation and scrutiny around her relationship Lil' Fizz. They confess that they were intimately involved in the course of the show, putting her at odds with Moniece and the other members of the cast.
