Lisa Olivia Munn was conceived in Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid lived in Vietnam with Chinese ancestry while Winston Barrett Munn's family has roots that go back to the American South. Olivia's parents split up when she was only 2 years old. Her mother raised her as well as her stepfather who is an United States Air Force officer. While the family lived throughout the world, her principal residence was Tokyo, Japan. When she was in Japan, she acted as an actor in local shows and eventually became a Japanese fashion model. Olivia was able to move from Japan to Los Angeles when her family had returned home to her home in the United States to follow her ambition to become an actor. Following a handful of small parts in her professional career, she took another promising step when she was offered the character in the role of Mily Acuna in Hawaii's lensed television show Beyond the Break (2006) and the role as Rob Schneider's receptionist on Big Stan (2007). The show's host is "The Daily Nut", "Formula D" and "The Formula D Podcasts" on G4. She loves surfing, and has been practising it ever since the television program Beyond the Break (2006). She also has the black belt in taekwondo. At the age of two, old, her mother was remarried again and this time with a member of the US Air Force. The family has moved many times but she lived the majority of her life in Tokyo Japan because that is where her father was stationed. She attended the University of Oklahoma, where she studied journalism, and minored in Japanese as well as dramatic arts.
