Hayley Orrantia is she is an American actor, singer and songwriter. Many people recognize the character as Erica Goldberg in the comedy television show 'The Goldbergs'. Her definition of herself is an artist first and foremost. She maintains that music is her primary passion. It's something she was experimenting with since she was nine years old. By the time she turned 12, music became serious enough for her to begin professional training. She began songwriting when she was 13, and she was just 14 when she recorded her first album of cover songs. It hasn't turned back since. Orrantia was born in the USA but is of Hispanic heritage. While she has never lived in or spoken Spanish in Mexico However, she is very proud about her Hispanic roots. She tries to preserve it by learning to speak Spanish and creating songs in the language. She has recorded an Spanish version of a track, titled 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia was a contestant on The X Factor during its debut season in the summer of 2011. The Orrantia's YouTube video was selected and she got four "yeses" which is a vote, from the judges at the Seattle audition.
