Hayley Orrantia (born in the year 1996) is an American actor, singer, and songwriter. Most people know the name as Erica Goldberg, from the television comedy 'The Goldbergs. Her primary focus is as an actor. According to her, music was always her first love. When she was 12 she was taking serious enough about music to start professional training. She ventured into songwriting at 13 and was only 14 when she recorded her first collection of cover songs. Since then, she has not stopped since then. Orrantia was born in the USA but has Hispanic roots. Even though she spoke only English as a child and not been to Mexico Orrantia is happy with her Hispanic background. Her goal is to preserve the culture by writing Spanish songs, and also taking classes in the Spanish language. "Hasta Verte" which is a song with Spanish lyrics that she has recorded, is an instance. In the summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the first episode of The X Factor. Orrantia took home the very first season of The X Factor when she uploaded an YouTube audition video. The judge gave her the four "yes" vote by the judge on the live stage in Seattle. She was originally performing as a solo artist, however after "Hollywood Week" the three female performers were placed in groups to take part in the auditions. Live shows were staged in the fifth week.
